Now that FirstBAA is off the ground we are looking to the future. We are planning workshops and summer camps for over the summer. We have found a lot of teams are inexperienced with general shop tools, and plan to hold a workshop to teach incoming FIRST participants how to operate them. We are also planning VEX and Lego summer camps for elementary and middle school students to help introduce them to FIRST.
The Battle O' Baltimore is coming! The BAA will be hosting an off-season competition based on the 2007 FRC challenge "Rack 'N' Roll"! Teams from around the area will be participating in the first off-season event in Maryland, for prizes, awards, and recognition! August 11th is game day, from 9 AM to 5 PM. Registration per teams is $250, or $200 if you register by June 31st. The event will be held at Western School of Technology in Catonsville. For more details, please check the PDF file below.
